Attending The Parade
When is the next parade?
The next parade will take place on February 21, 2025. Stay up to date by following us on Facebook & Instagram.
What should I expect to see?
Unlike most parades in Lafayette, Krewe de Canailles prides itself on having hand-made, unique treasures as “throws.” Not only do we tell our members to create sustainable, special crafts, we ask that they are handed to parade go-ers rather than thrown. Each sub-krewe will also have its own man-powered float.
Where should I park?
All metered spaces in Downtown Lafayette are free after 5:00 PM on weekdays. There are also 2 parking garages in Downtown Lafayette: one on Buchanan Street and the Parc-Auto du Centreville Garage on Vermilion Street. You can find a few public parking lots on Garfield, Jefferson, and Buchanan Street. Please note that access to some of these garages and lots could be affected after 6pm due to road closures.
